Thanks for this article. Frankly, I'm disgusted that someone was laid off for needing time for infertility treatments. No wonder couples choose to suffer in silence, thus deepening the pain, strengthening the bitterness, and predisposing them to depression etc. Infertility should be treated like anything else to do with pregnancy/childbirth/childcare, or at least the same as any other medical condition.
Hello there. I started blogging whilst trying to balance too much -- infertility, miscarriages, elder caregiving for a crazy (as in Alzheimer's) mother-in-law. And now that things have changed, I find myself mourning parts of my before-life.
