Cancer

The vet says the cat has cancer.

The doctor says Mama has cancer.

I have to go back to work in 2 weeks.

I need a babysitter.

Mama is going into the hospital on Monday.

The cat is going to have to wait for treatment. We may have to put the cat down.

H held Spunketta and cried. I placed the baby in his arms before I told him.

I haven't cried yet.

I will. When everyone else is taken care of.

watch me cope.

Oh Nica, I'm so sorry. It's strange, my sister just told me today that G-d only gives you as much as you can handle -- but it seems to me that he has mistaken you for someone else and given you their share too.

I'm thinking of you. And for what it is worth (coming from a vet), if it is best for your family to let your kitty go, then it is the right choice. Treatment isn't right for every family or every situation.
