It Rained Today

It rained today. It rained so much that the streets flooded and some highways closed down.
And the strong winds ripped up roofs and knocked down trees. And the subways flooded (and were then cancelled). And the buses were packed to overflowing (where there were buses were able to run).
And people muttered of hurricanes, tornadoes and general devastation.

And I got my period.

I am most sorry about your period.

I hope that things dry up a bit.

Wow, that was some incredible weather!

Sorry about your period. But does this mean you are starting BCPs for you IVF? Scary, but possibly exciting?

I wanted to say too, that I look forward to your posts. I know you face many challenges with your situation, but you present things with such humor!

Wishing you well!

Urgh...how many natural disasters are you expected to deal with? Damn AF.

I hope that both the rains and she will be drying up soon!

Hugs!

Well shit. I'm sorry. That rain was something - not as much in New Haven as you guys got, but impressive no less.

Still - it's something when even the weather seems to mirror your situation. I don't know whether that's comforting... or really eerie.

Oh, I second that comment about the drying up. Lots of dry. On both counts.

Two of my least favorite guests: catastrophic weather and periods.

I'm sorry.

The tornado (yes, a TORNADO in New York City) touched down miles away. Mostly, it was just the subways being down that was impacted me. But, outside small inconvenience, me and mine were fine...
